Organization and sequence comparison of B. germanica LpR. A) BgLpR shows the organization and characteristic domains of a LDL receptor. Two isoforms of BgLpR were found, differing by an insertion/deletion of 24 aa in the O-sugar linked domain. B) Comparison of modular domains between different insect LpRs. Identity (%) with respect to B. germanica sequence is indicated (overall identity indicated below the species name, and domain identity indicated below the corresponding domain).
