From: NF-κB mediates the transcription of mouse calsarcin-1 gene, but not calsarcin-2, in C2C12 cells
EMSA analysis of the NF-κB binding sites in the mouse CS -1 and CS-2 promoters. A. 32P labelled oligonucleotide probes for the NF-κB consensus, NF-κB CS-1 and NF-κB CS-2 binding sites were incubated with C2C12 myotube nuclear extracts. B. Competition experiments were performed using a 100-fold excess of unlabeled NF-κB consensus and NF-κB CS-1 probes. Supershift assays were performed with anti-P50 antibody. Arrows indicate the resulting bandshifts.
