Multi-alignment of the amino acid sequences of partial terrestrial plant FPS. PnFPS, PgFPS, EsFPS, PqFPS, and GpFPS represent farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase cloned from Panax notoginseng, Panax ginseng, Eleutherococcus senticosus, Panax quinquefolium, and Gynostemma pentaphyllum, respectively. The positive selection sites for FPS in the above five common medicinal plants were marked and displayed through GeneDoc (http://www.nrbsc.org/gfx/genedoc). PnFPS was used as the reference sequence.
