Quantitative RT-PCR was performed to validate microarray analysis results. Gene expression analysis for 22 genes that showed deviant gene expression in microarray analysis has been performed using 2^−ΔΔCq method. RT-qPCR has been performed using three technical replicates in a double determination. Gene expression in non-transfected 93RS2 cells was used as calibrator and therefore set as “1”.
