  1. Ct values obtained from 10-fold serial dilutions of pooled cDNA (from ×10 dilution to ×100000 dilution) were plotted against dilution factors. The reaction efficiency was calculated using the equation E = 10(-1/slope) where 'E' is the efficiency and 'slope' is the gradient of the best fit line.
