For each experiment (n = 3 for A and B, n = 6 for C-F), values obtained for cells transfected with the luciferase reporter alone were set to 1. * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001 as determined by student's t-test compared to the relevant controls (Gal4 fusion alone, Gal4 fusion and pSCT1-VP16, VP16 fusion and pFC-Gal4); n.s. not significant.
