Endogenous topoisomerase IIα decreases concomitantly with decreased Sp1 and increased Sp3 after treatment with doxorubicin. The three proteins bracketed in C represent the isoforms of Sp3 produced from alternative start codons. Results show the average of three experiments carried out in triplicate and are expressed as ± SEM where n = 9, *** p < 0.001, ** p < 0.01, and * p < 0.05. The insert shows one indicative immunoblot.
