The comparative analysis of global histone modificartions in asynchronous (A) and mitotic (M) MEL cells through western blotting. A. Histones prepared from A and M cell extracts were electrophoretically separated by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and stained with Coomassie Blue. B. The whole level of H3 and H4 acetylation, H3-K4 dimethylation in M cells is decreased compared to that in A cells, but H3-K79 dimethylation is stable.
