DNA repair sensitivity to γ-radiation of wild type (rec+) or of mutant cells grown to stationary-phase. Wild type cells and their isogenic derivatives (ΔsbcC, ΔykoV, ΔsbcC ΔykoV, ΔrecN, ΔsbcC ΔrecN, ΔykoV ΔrecN, ΔrecA, ΔykoV ΔrecA or ΔsbcC ΔrecA) were exposed to different doses of γ-radiation. At least three independent experiments were performed, bars denote standard deviations.
