Analysis of the kinetics of β-galactosidase induction in the HC11 cell pools with tTA under the control of the CMV, EF1α, PGK or TRE promoters. (A) Dose-response curve. 5000 cells were plated per well for each condition and β-galactosidase activity was determined after 72 hours of induction. (B) Time course of induction. 5000 cells were plated per well for each condition and β-galactosidase activity was measured after the indicated periods of induction. In both cases, the β-galactosidase activity has been normalised to the protein concentration of the sample. Results are presented as mean normalised β-galactosidase activity of three replicates ± standard error.
