Ets-1 affects CD5 expression levels. EL4 cells were transiently transfected with StuI B reporter construct (S) plus different amounts of Ets-1 expression plasmid (pEVRF-ets-1): 5 μg (lane 2), 10 μg (lane 3), or 15 μg (lane 4); or with StuI B construct and 15 μg control plasmid pEVRF0 (lane 1). EL4 cells were also co-transfected with mutE StuI B reporter construct (E) and 15 μg of pEVRF-ets-1 or pEVRF0 (lanes 5 and 6). Each bar value represents the average of three independent transfections in one experiment, with standard deviation as error bars.
