Power analysis by means of Kruskal-Wallis eQTL mapping. Preliminary eQTL mapping by means of Kruskal-Wallis analysis was performed in MapQTL®5 [91]. Two population sizes were compared: 49 siblings (upper panel) and 70 siblings (lower panel). For each gene (ANS, CHS, DFR, F3H, F3′ H and FLS) the number of markers (vertical axis) that correlated at a certain significance level (horizontal axis) is given.
