Analysis of the interaction between full-length wildtype and mutant mCRY2 with mPER2 using a mammalian two-hybrid system. HEK 293T cells were transfected with pBIND-mPER2/pACT-mCry2 and pACT-mCry2-Mut/pBIND-mPer2 and the pGL5luc reporter plasmid. Top Panel: Expression levels of HA-mCRY2 and FLAG-mPER2. Bottom Panel: Reporter activity was examined 24 h after transfection and the relative luciferase activity was calculated and plotted. Error bars indicate SEM from at least 3 experiments. ** p < 0.005 as determined by student's t-test compared to the control.
