Effect of siRNA-4 on hemin-induced HO-1 protein level. BRL cells were transfected with 10 nmol/L siRNA-4 and collected at 24, 36 and 48 hours respectively after the transfection. Eighteen hours before the collection, 4.5 μmol/L hemin was added into all the groups to induce HO-1 expression. Compared to the blank group, the inhibitory rates of siRNA to HO-1 at 24, 36 and 48 hours after transfection were 53%, 64% and less than 30%, respectively. * P < 0.01 or ** P < 0.05 A.
