RNA samples prepared with protocol A (direct transfer to RNA later™) were compared to RNA samples prepared with protocol B (dissection before banking). Results are expressed as mean +/- SEM (each experiment in duplicate). (n = 14 for each protocol). p values were determined by ANOVA. p < 0.05 was considered to be significant. pH T0 versus T96: p = 0.002. RNA yield for protocol A versus protocol B: p = 0.01
