The forward and reverse primers used for RT-PCR amplification of the full length cDNA from mRNA are underlined. A cysteine residue (Cys82) is shown in grey background, which has been suggested to be part of the active site in a Z. ramigera 3-oxoacyl-CoA thiolase. The terminal codon is indicated with asterisks below the codon. The GenBank accession number of this cDNA is FJ986464.
